Oh, I can smell it! The scent of crisp cool air and pumpkin scented EVERYTHING! Fall is almost here. For me, that just means one thing…new makeup! Yup, along with a new capsule wardrobe come a sort of makeup capsule wardrobe if you will. This year, I’m trying to keep things simple. I’ve been more attracted to smaller eyeshadow palettes that I actually have a chance of hitting pan on. Also, I love a pinky nude glossy lip to go with everything! Juvia’s Place Cosmetics is having a serious moment right now! If you haven’t heard of this black owned company, consider this your introduction! I recently picked up the Juvia’s Place Zulu Palette during one of their sales. Juvia’s Place has turned the world of highly pigmented eye shadow palettes on its head! Once you had to pay ridiculous amounts of money to even come close to decent eye shadow pigmentation. And then you still had to prime your lids like crazy just to see some color payoff, especially if you are darker skinned. This palette changed all of that! The Afro-Centric packaging is some of the most stunning that I have ever seen in my entire life. I’m not even exaggerating! Keep reading to see for yourself!
I love beauty tags! I’ve never been tagged in one, so I’m just going to jump right into “The Beauty Tag” that I found from the Makeup Dreamer Blog by Amsa! I actually dream about makeup at night, so this tag is perfect!

I’ll be honest. Rimmel has never been on my radar. They don’t strike me as the most “inclusive” of makeup brands. But since I can’t help to browse down every single makeup aisle at Walmart, I say they have some dark shades that just might work for me.
